Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for families. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, compassionate, and experienced in working with children of various ages, including those with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled hours
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas
- Support children with homework or educational activities as needed
- Provide caregiving support for children with disabilities or special needs when required
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Skills
- Experience working with children across different age groups
- Ability to cook and prepare meals for children
- Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a tidy environment
- Teaching abilities to support early learning and developmental milestones
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both children and parents
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a genuine love for caring for children
- First Aid with CPR-C
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
