Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of a diverse property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership abilities to ensure the efficient running of property facilities. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, coordinate projects, and maintain high standards of property performance and tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance activities
- Oversee project management tasks related to property upgrades, renovations, and system installations
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order tracking and maintenance scheduling
- Review schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot issues and plan maintenance activities
- Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems (including low voltage), and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Lead safety inspections and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements
- Supervise staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized services such as manufacturing or industrial maintenance projects
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven management experience with supervising teams in property or industrial settings
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, electrical systems (including low voltage), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics interpretation
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Background in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and documentation
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, PLCs, schematics, and industrial equipment is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within budget and timeline constraints
- Prior supervisory experience in a technical or facilities management role is highly desirable
