The person in this role plays a key part in the evolution, performance, and long-term sustainability of Simons’ enterprise applications that support business operations. Reporting to the IT Team Lead, Enterprise Application Technologies, this person contributes to the analysis, continuous improvement, and modernization of the application portfolio while ensuring the stability and quality of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze the performance, availability, and maintainability of enterprise applications to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with development, integration, and operations teams to design and implement high-performing, sustainable solutions.
- Produce technical analyses, specifications, and documentation required for application enhancements and system integrations.
- Participate in incident analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to application modernization initiatives, technical debt reduction, and the continuous improvement of enterprise platforms.
Participate in solution validation, deployment, and post-implementation monitoring to ensure quality and stability.
Desired Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in technical analysis, application support, systems integration, or enterprise systems operations.
- Solid understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, data flows, and application architectures.
- Experience working in technology environments that combine legacy systems with modern platforms.
- Experience with IBM i (AS/400), RPG, APIs, integration platforms, Kafka, or similar technologies is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, both verbally and in writing.
