Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Contractor to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills and experience in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, exterior finishing , and interior finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality results. The Contractor will be responsible for executing assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work as required
- Install cabinetry, flooring, and other interior finishes with precision
- Install Siding, soffit and facia
- Apply caulking and painting techniques to enhance project aesthetics and durability
- Install windows and doors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery
- Ability to interpret schematics and construction estimating documents
- Skilled in construction painting, restoration work, cabinet installation, flooring installation, caulking, and drywall finishing
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and general construction practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Candidate will receive a company vehicle and must have a valid G license.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
