Overview
We are seeking a skilled Yarder Engineer/Operator to join our team, to run Yarder in the Shuswap / Revelstoke / Okanagan areas
- Assist with the setup, dismantling, and positioning of yarder systems for various projects..
- $45.00 hr - $50.00hr as an employee
- $50.00-$60.00hr as subcontractor
- Daily pickup allowance and fuel coverages of your supplying your one pickup
- Ideal candidate would come with there own hooktender and rigging crew ( rates for other crew TBD)
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as yarder cranes, bulldozers, or similar machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Logging experience a must, especially in landscape or site development projects.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex machinery with precision and safety awareness. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety on every project site.
Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Experience:
- Yarder operator/ engineer: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
