We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
As a key member of our firm, you will manage day-to-day full-cycle bookkeeping and compliance tasks for a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has working knowledge of Canadian payroll and HST requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for various client accounts.
- Accurately calculate, prepare, and file timely HST.
- Accurately calculate payroll and payroll remittances.
- Prepare personal income tax returns.
- Develop and maintain meaningful, trusted working relationships with our clients and team members.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Sage are strictly required.
- Understanding of payroll source deductions and HST rules are required.
- Canadian personal tax preparation experience is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Previous experience working within a public accounting firm or managing multiple client files is highly preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
