Job Type: Full-Time – Current Vacancy
Salary: $59,500 - $75,000

At our company, we are looking for exceptional individuals who can meet the following criteria:

Adapt to changing business needs and evolving supplier landscapes

Uphold ethical procurement practices and confidentiality in all dealings

Education: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience: 3-5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or welding environment

Assets:
-
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, heat treatment, NDT, plating)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-
familiarity with government procurement regulations
-
Systems: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics

Procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supplier evaluation techniques

Manufacturing supply chain processes and production support requirements
-
Contract negotiation, pricing analysis, and cost manage
-
Quality management systems and supplier compliance standards

ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making tools

Strong negotiation and communication skills with focus on relationship building

Analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating supplier performance and cost efficiency

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in documentation management and purchasing recordkeeping

Effective multitasking and time management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
