Bruno’s trucking is seeking an experienced dispatcher to help us grow our existing deck, hot shot, heavy haul, and oilfield customer base. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and dynamic, with a commitment to customer service and integrity.
Job Description
Summary: The position of Dispatcher is a full time salary position. This position is responsible for organizing and dispatching drivers and equipment as well as coordinate repairs with the mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch:
- Organize drivers and units to effectively meet customer’s needs.
- Communicate with others in the dispatch role to ensure efficient use of equipment.
- Maintain a respectful working relationship with operators to ensure high employee and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate job expectations clearly to drivers so customer satisfaction is ensured.
- Keep detailed records so problems can be documented, isolated and solved.
- Track equipment CVIPs, service intervals and scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
- Providing quotes to customers
Safety:
- Reports all safety concerns and incidents to management.
- Assist in the development of safety programs.
Documentation:
- Fill out dispatches - Record customer information
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years dispatching experience.
- 5 years in the transportation oilfield industry
- Familiar with permitting requirements throughout Canada
Certification:
The following certifications are required to be obtained and kept current by the employee:
- Class 1 license - Preferred
