Photographer/Videographer (15-20 hrs/week)

Companion Construction is seeking a skilled and professional part-time Photographer/Videographer to capture commercial construction projects across Vancouver and Burnaby. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated professional with experience in architectural, construction, real estate, or commercial visual content, who can confidently work on active job sites, identify strong content opportunities, and tell compelling project stories through photo and video. This role offers flexible part-time project work, variety across multiple commercial sites, creative independence, and the opportunity to build a strong portfolio with a respected, community-focused construction company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to multiple project sites throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley
- Capture high-quality photography and video content of active construction projects
- Film interview-style videos with project managers and team members discussing projects
- Edit and deliver professional photo and video content for marketing and social media use
- Identify strong visual opportunities onsite independently
- Capture progress shots, completed projects, team content, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Organize and deliver edited content in a timely manner
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PROFILE
- Previous experience in architectural, construction, real estate, or commercial photography/videography
- Strong editing skills for both photo and video
- Comfortable working independently onsite
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland
- Professional communication and organizational skills
- Drone experience is considered an asset
- Experience with interview-style filming and audio setup preferred
Hours: 15-20 hours/per week
Compensation: $25-28/hr
Language: Proficient English, written and spoken
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
