Work-Study Position Profile

Job Summary

The Office Assistant will contribute to the effective functioning of the Centre for Safeguarding Minors and Vulnerable Adults (CPCS) by providing comprehensive administrative, logistical, and communication support. The position encompasses a range of tasks, including:

Assisting withconferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, and podcasts, such as registrations, scheduling, preparation of materials, and technical support.
Assisting withcommunication with speakers, participants, and external stakeholders..
Assisting with the development and scheduling of content for the Centre’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Assisting inthe design and dissemination of newsletters, flyers, and outreach campaigns.
Assistinginoutreach activities and engagement initiatives organized by the Centre.
Providing technical and administrative assistance during live events, including managing chat and Q&A functions,andtroubleshooting issues.

Who is eligible

Saint Paul University Students.

Language requirements

Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset.

Statement of Qualifications

Basic knowledge of program and project coordination.
Familiarity with general office administration practices.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, Canva, and Mailchimp.
Knowledge of the structures of the Catholic Church and/or other organizations related to the protection of minors and vulnerable adults (an asset).
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and administrative systems.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

14th September 2026

Number of working hours

120 hours (10h/week)

Salary

As stipulated in the work-study program.
