Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team for evening shifts starting after 5pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to facility upkeep with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies to sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts after 5pm
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures is a plus
