Job Description
MyVic Property Management is seeking a driven, organized, and highly professional Leasing Agent & Tenant Liaison to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional looking for stable, permanent part-time work during evenings and weekends.
You will serve as the face of our properties to prospective tenants and the primary point of contact during peak off-hours. Your focus will be maximizing occupancy, executing seamless leasing workflows, and maintaining strong tenant relations across our Edmonton portfolio.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
- Leasing & Showings: Conduct professional property showings for pre-qualified prospective tenants during evening and weekend windows.
- Application Screening: Review tenant applications, perform comprehensive background and credit checks, and verify references to ensure high-quality placements.
- Move-Ins & Inspections: Coordinate and execute detailed move-in/move-out inspections, complete digital inspection reports with photo documentation, and handle key handovers.
- Tenant Liaison: Serve as the professional first point of contact for resident inquiries, lease renewals, and non-technical escalations during evening/weekend shifts.
- Operational Sync: Efficiently log all guest cards, communications, and lease statuses into our property management software to hand off cleanly to the daytime team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or a high-volume customer-facing role.
- Licensing: An active RECA Property Management or Real Estate license is a strong asset but not strictly required for a dedicated leasing/liaison role if operating under brokerage guidelines.
- Tech-Savvy: High proficiency with property management software (Yardi/Buildium/Tenant Turner experience preferred), digital signature platforms, and standard office tech.
- Transportation: Valid Alberta Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle are required to travel between properties (mileage/car allowance provided).
- Soft Skills: Clear, assertive communication; exceptional time-management; and the ability to solve problems independently under tight deadlines.
