Wolf Creek Building Supplies is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Person to join our team in Morinville, Alberta. This position plays an important role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient lumber and building materials yard while providing excellent service to customers and delivery drivers.
Position Summary
The Yard Person is responsible for assisting customers, loading and unloading building materials, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring the yard operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload customer and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assist customers in locating and picking up materials
- Organize and maintain lumber, hardware, and building material inventory
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Help prepare orders for delivery and customer pickup
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Assist with general yard and warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous yard, warehouse, or building supply experience is an asset
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions year-round
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and dependable

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays and overtime during busy seasons
