A manufacturer industrial equipment, serving commercial operators across marine, construction, and heavy industrial sectors is growing its western Canada sales presence and looking for a Sales Representative based in or around Vancouver to own their core customer territory.
This is a high-ticket, relationship-driven sales role. Deals range from the low six figures to $1M+. Sales cycles are long and consultative — this is not a high-volume transactional sales job. It rewards reps who can build trust with technical buyers, stay close to deals over months, and close decisively when the moment is right.
What's in it for You:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission — top performers earn $150K+ OTE
- Vehicle allowance and travel expenses covered
- Extended health benefits
- Direct access to leadership; fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment
- Opportunity to build and own a territory largely from the ground up
What You Will Do:
- Own the full sales cycle for your territory: prospecting, quoting, follow-up, and close
- Be in regular face-to-face contact with customers and prospects; this is a field-heavy role, not a desk job
- Work closely with the client's engineering and technical team to translate customer requirements into accurate specs and pricing, and to speak knowledgeably about product capabilities in the field
- Represent the company at industry events, site visits, and customer facilities as needed
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of pipeline activity and deal status
Territory/Location Information:
- Territory covers the Vancouver / Lower Mainland region with regular travel to customer sites
- Remote-based, with expectation of consistent in-region presence rather than office attendance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with technical or industrial equipment, capital goods, or heavy machinery
- A track record of closing complex, high-value deals — not just generating activity
- Comfortable in front of technical buyers (engineers, operations managers, procurement) — able to go deep into product specs and mechanics independently, not just relay information from others
- Self-directed — able to manage a territory and a pipeline without close oversight
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into marine, construction, or heavy industrial equipment markets is a plus
- Background in capital equipment or long-cycle B2B sales
All resumes will be held in strict confidence.
Pay: $90,588.69-$155,816.21 per year
Application question(s):
- How many years of B2B sales experience do you have with technical or industrial equipment, capital goods, or heavy machinery?
- In your most recent sales role, what was the largest single deal (dollar value) you personally closed?
- Do you have experience discussing technical product specifications directly with engineers and technical buyers, without relying on a technical team member to be present?
