About Us
Heritage Asian Eatery is a modern Asian restaurant brand specializing in Chinese BBQ, skewers, wok cooking, and handcrafted specialties. We are expanding our team at Oakridge and are looking for motivated cooks who take pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork.
Position Summary
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, station setup, and maintaining kitchen standards. Successful candidates are organized, hardworking, and able to thrive in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Operate wok, grill, fryer, or prep stations as assigned
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory organization and storage
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership and team members
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Experience with Asian cuisine is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg
- Food Safe certification is an asset
