About the Role
LAWN CHOP is hiring a reliable, hard‑working Lawn Mowing Labourer to join our field operations. This position involves mowing, trimming, blowing, and general landscape maintenance on residential and commercial properties throughout Fort St. John.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Complete weekly mowing routes efficiently and safely
- Perform spring/fall cleanups, light pruning, and debris removal
- Maintain clean, professional work standards on every property
- Follow company safety procedures and equipment handling guidelines
- Communicate clearly with the team and report issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit, capable of lifting 100 lbs, and walking for extended periods
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Experience in lawn care or landscaping is an asset but not required
- Willing to provide a Criminal Record Check
- Willing to perform and pass Drug & Alcohol testing when required for commercial or industrial worksites
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
