Overview
We are actively seeking motivated and dependable AZ (Ontario) licensed truck drivers to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Drive route-specific deliveries across local, regional, or long-haul routes with precision and punctuality.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal and state laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
Skills
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks and various vehicle types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Proven ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts if required.
- Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations for commercial trucking.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads during loading/unloading processes.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures specific to different trailer types and cargo requirements.
