Start Date: Immediate / Upcoming Monday About the Role Philo Auto is looking for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, possesses strong diagnostic skills, and operates with efficiency and precision. You’ll start on Mondays and Fridays, with additional days added as our customer base and garage operations grow. Candidate Requirements Licensing: Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician license (or equivalent Red Seal certification). Experience: Proven hands-on diagnostic, maintenance, and repair capability across diverse vehicle makes and models. Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving ability, clean work habits, and high attention to detail. Driver's License: Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record. Equipment & Tool Requirements Candidates must have their own comprehensive tool set, including (but not limited to): Hand Tools: Complete socket sets (1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive, metric & standard), wrenches, ratchets, extensions, torque wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers. Power Tools: Cordless impact wrenches (3/8" & 1/2"), cordless drills, and die grinders. Diagnostic & Electrical: Digital Multimeter (DMM), circuit tester/test light, and basic back-probe kit. Specialty Mechanical: Brake service tools, caliper tools, and pry bars. Safety & PPE: Steel-toe boots (CSA approved) and eye protection. (Note: Major shop diagnostic platforms, lifts, tire equipment, and heavy specialized machinery are provided by the garage.) Why Join Us?
