The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Tower Crane Technician Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on to erect, service, and repair tower and self-erecting cranes. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service to our customers.

Role Details
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour day shifts)
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Location: Abbotsford, BC (shop + travel to customer sites)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Overtime: As required based on project demands
- Union: Local 115 membership required (Collective Agreement applies)
What You’ll Do
- Assist with erecting, dismantling, servicing, and repairing cranes
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Support shop and yard organization and housekeeping
- Assist technicians and respond to customer needs professionally and promptly
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
What You Bring
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude (experience is an asset)
- Crane experience is an asset, but not required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is an asset)
- Forklift/telehandler certification is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the trade
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
