We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer located in Brampton (Dixie Rd. and Steeles Avenue area) looking for a SENIOR MECHANICAL HVAC & SHEET METAL PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER, full time to lead our engineering team.
Skills:
· Ability to lead our engineering team on Research & Development projects.
· Able to design, prepare/assemble/test and certify various fan HRV/ERV samples / HVAC products that have to be CSA/UL/ETL approved.
· Able to read and prepare 2D / 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks (Sheet Metal) and Rivet programs.
· Previous experience with laboratory air / cfm testing instruments and equipment. (Airflow and performance testing using Pitot tube, air velocity meter, airflow chamber, etc.)
· Prior 4-5 years of experience in HVAC product development is necessary.
· Must have a strong work ethic and be able to take instructions from our managerial staff and interact well with plant staff.
· Experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing facility and environment.
· Must be able to read and understand written instructions and have excellent verbal communication skills.
· Mechanical engineering Master's or Bachelor degree.
· AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Solid Works (sheet Metal) experience is a must.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
