Northrok Construction Ltd. is a thriving company based out of Virden, Manitoba. We specialize in Civil Heavy Construction, Reclamation & Remediation, Railway Construction & Services, Vegetation Management, Lease and Well Pad Construction, Road Construction, Trucking Services and Demolition.
We are looking to hire multiple Class 1 Drivers. This will be steady work, 5 days a week for 12 months a year.
LOA will be paid if/when you are on the road.
Benefits package upon completion of probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of trucks to ensure safety standards.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support other construction-related tasks when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Proven experience in freight transportation and commercial driving.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment if necessary.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to trucking.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- Knowledge of regional traffic laws and regulations.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
