Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team. Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with precision and care
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Perform laboratory tests including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical procedures
- Maintain detailed medical records for each patient with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care
- Support the cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of medical equipment and surgical tools
- Assist in inventory management by ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Laboratory experience is preferred to support diagnostic testing processes
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical practices and protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is advantageous
