Are you passionate about children and the early years? Do you believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships? Simcoe Childcare Services may be the place for you!
We are looking for a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), equivalent, or Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team and become a partner with our young investigators. At Simcoe Childcare Services, we love to get down on the floor, explore alongside the children, follow their interests, and help everyone become the best version of themselves.
We hold a strong value in feeling like a family here, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow, learn, and laugh with us.
Our Philosophy
We believe that each child is competent, capable, curious, and rich in potential. Every child deserves to feel a sense of belonging, well-being, and respect in our program.
Children learn best through play, relationships, and hands-on experiences. Our educators are partners in learning who explore alongside children, ask meaningful questions, and create environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection.
We value:
- Respect for each child’s individuality
- Strong relationships with families
- Play-based, emergent learning
- Documentation and reflective practice
- Joy, laughter, and lifelong learning
Our Values
Relationships – We value honest, respectful, and authentic connections. Environments – We create rich spaces that invite exploration and discovery. Life-Long Learning – We support growth for both children and educators. Partnerships with Parents – Families are an essential part of our program. Health, safety, and well-being are always our highest priority.
