Role Description The Maintenance Coordinator is a full-time, on site role located at Flint Packaging Products Ltd. in Woodbridge, ON. This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities to support safe, efficient operations. Key responsibilities include scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, liaising with production leaders to minimize downtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. The Maintenance Coordinator will work closely with technicians and external service providers, monitor inventory of spare parts and supplies, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and plant performance. The role also involves promoting safe work practices, assisting with compliance to company policies and regulatory requirements, and providing clear communication across departments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance skills, with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills, with the ability to coordinate maintenance teams or contractors and provide clear direction.
- Candidates should possess solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, safety, and external service providers.
- Experience with corrugated packaging or similar production equipment, and familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems, is an asset.
- A relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience in maintenance or industrial mechanics is preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment are essential.
