Tractor & Hayride Operator
Our tractor & hayride operators safely transport guests throughout the farm while providing a welcoming and engaging experience. Guests rely on you for information about the farm, activities, apples, pumpkins, and U-pick experiences — and your positive attitude helps make their visit special.
This role requires strong communication skills, confidence working with guests, and the ability to stay calm and professional during busy weekends.
Training begins in late July, with our 2026 season running through to October 31.
What you will do:
- Safely operate tractors and hay wagons throughout the farm
- Welcome and assist guests boarding the hayride
- Create a friendly, engaging, and enjoyable atmosphere for guests
- Answer questions about farm activities, apples, pumpkins, U-pick areas, and policies
- Ensure guests follow hayride safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with hayride loaders and other team members
- Help lead and set a positive tone for your team during busy operating days
- Assist in other farm areas when not driving, including guest service, stocking, tills, and activity areas

Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
