Role Description
The Beginner's French Instructor is a contract position responsible for teaching beginner-level French courses to adult learners. The instructor will prepare lesson plans, deliver engaging and interactive classes, and provide support to students to help them build confidence in basic French communication skills. Additional duties include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is an on-site role located at Coquitlam Continuing Education in Coquitlam, BC.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in French language and experience in French teaching
- Proven skills and experience in Teaching, Tutoring, and Education
- Background in Teacher Training or professional development for educators
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of adult learning principles and classroom management techniques
- Relevant certifications or diplomas in education, linguistics, or language instruction are an asset
- Experience teaching beginner-level students is preferred
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
