Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in our motel. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to a safe and welcoming space for clients and staff. Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a timely manner.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including changing linens, laundry, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other cleaning essentials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and supplies, including vacuums, mops, and disinfectants
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
