Position Title: Maintenance Technician
What the typical day looks like for the Millwright position:
- Perform inspections, adjustments and repairs on production and facilities equipment;
- Install, dismantle and overhaul machinery;
- Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns;
- Perform inspections, PMs and correct issues through workorder program in a timely manner;
- Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools etc;
- Housekeeping of maintenance area;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Relevant industrial experience required;
- Red Seal Millwright License;
- 5+ years with hands on repair and maintenance of machinery in high volume manufacturing environment;
- Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems;
- PLC knowledge and experience considered an asset;
- Ticketed skilled worker considered an asset;
- Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules;
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
- Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others.
Location:
Orillia, ON
Continental Shift:
Straight Days - 7:00am to 7:00pm. The successful candidate will be expected to work every other weekend.
Straight Nights - 7:00pm to 7:00am. The successful candidate will be expected to work every other weekend.
