We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our child and youth group living program. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to Indigenous children, trauma-informed practice, and community empowerment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead program planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with Netsanak Wekowaw’s mission, vision, and values
- Supervise, manage, and support each Home Supervisor with regular check-ins, training and development, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Child & Family Services, Delegated First Nations Agencies, and community partners
- Monitor program outcomes and maintain compliance with accreditation and licensing standards
- Manage budgets, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Advocate for the needs of children and families within the program
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Social Work, Child & Youth Care, Indigenous Studies, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program management or leadership in childcare or group care settings
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and community dynamics.
- Proven ability to lead teams with empathy, accountability, and cultural humility
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed

Hours of Work:
- This position generally follows standard work hours, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour workdays and offers flexibility in scheduling.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
