Current openings: Industrial Painter - Full time with immediate selection and onboarding available
Location: Hiring at our Parksville location (1390 Springhill Rd., Parksville, BC), with occasional shifts at our Chemainus location (3528 Smiley Rd., Chemainus, BC).
Job Summary: The Industrial Painter is responsible for industrial coating operations for fabricated steel components and assemblies. This will be a hands-on role in the paint booth, working both independently and collaboratively to support team productivity and a well-organized work environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Application of industrial coating systems (primers, epoxies, urethanes, powder coatings, etc.) according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply coating to fabricated steel components, weldments, and assemblies.
- Operate airless spraying equipment
- Surface preparation processes (cleanliness standards, masking).
- Enforce PPE use and safe handling procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; technical or coatings certification preferred.
- 1+ years of industrial coatings experience in fabrication or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with structural steel or heavy welded assemblies strongly preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
