Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Previous experience in a hotel or laundry setting is preferred, as this role is essential in maintaining the quality of our guest services.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Assist with the transportation of clean linens to various departments within the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or laundry environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality control.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
