Key Responsibilities

Involved in the development of a variety of on-brand digital and print marketing and communications materials which are used to share Lakeland’s story with a range of audiences
Production of video assets, creating print and digital ads, designing publications, and taking photographs
Assist with video production including the development, execution and evaluation of videos that are created for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, marketing campaigns, special events, and internal and external communications
Collaboration with members of the marketing and communications team, and typically other departments throughout the college

Job Requirements

Two year post-secondary diploma in a related field
Three years’ correlating experience
The ability to multitask is a must and a high degree of initiative is required
Working on both campuses and occasionally working evening and weekends is also required
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products and experience handling all aspects of video production from script development through to video editing
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Must be willing to learn other related programs
Experience using DSLR cameras and studio lights
Must be able to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational skills are needed to handle various projects in a timely manner

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Temporary AUPE appointment at the Vermilion campus commencing as soon as possible, and ending October 22, 2027. The location can be in Vermilion or Lloydminster depending on successful candidate - there will be travel between both campuses. The current salary range is $53,255 - $67,112 per annum.
