Overview
IVIS is seeking a skilled and dedicated Flushby Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating a variety of equipment within the construction industry. This role requires proficiency in various tasks, including flushing storm/sani lines that are new or existing and backing up , and the operation of excavators, skid steers, and forklifts. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Perform flushing duties on new and existing sani/storm lines, culverts, both small and large.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and basic repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document daily activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred.
- Experience in flushby and heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Previous experience in construction environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.50-$35.50 per hour
