Looking for an Automotive Service Technician - Journeyperson. Experience is required and the ideal candidate would have their redseal. We will also consider the right apprentice. The successful candidate must have the skills and abilities necessary to diagnose and repair passenger motor vehicles. Additionally we are looking for someone who is punctual, motivated, and customer focused. We are a small family run organization, and are looking for the right fit.
Specific Skills include:
- Test and adjust units to specifications
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit;
- Repair or replace mechanical and electronic units or components
Workplace requirements include:
- Work in a fast paced, loud and sometimes hot environment
- Squatting, kneeling and standing for extended periods
- Safe use of all tools and equipment
- Work independently, and accept duties as prescribed by supervisor

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
or equivalent experience
