Overview
The Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub (GOAH) Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the development, delivery, and growth of accelerator services through Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine. Reporting to the Director, Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine, the GOAH Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational coordination, delivery, and strategic development of the Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub initiative.
This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams, innovation advisors, service partners, industry stakeholders, and government funders.
The GOAH Manager will lead initiative activities related to client recruitment, partner hub development, relationship management, and program performance tracking, while ensuring alignment with funder expectations and sector priorities.

Responsibilities
Program Management & Delivery
§ Manage and coordinate all operational aspects of the Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub initiative.
§ Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of accelerator programming and support services for participating companies.
§ Coordinate initiative calls for applications, oversee review processes, and manage internal resources involved in program delivery.
§ Support the development and execution of program strategy to maximize impact for agri-food and agri-tech innovators.
§ Track project milestones, participant progress, and overall program outcomes.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
§ Serve as the primary point of contact for GOAH participants and partners/service providers.
§ Build and maintain strong relationships with initiative members, Innovation Advisors, service partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
§ Facilitate collaboration and networking opportunities among participants, industry and partners.
§ Identify and cultivate connections and close relationship with current partners to expand the initiative’s reach and value to participants.
Reporting
§ Manage program performance tracking and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with funding requirements.
§ Prepare reports and program updates for funding partners, including OMAFA and other stakeholders.
§ Support funding compliance requirements including data collection, performance metrics, and program evaluation.
§ Contribute to the preparation of impact reports, and strategic updates for company leadership and funders.
Community & Ecosystem Development
§ Support engagement within The Engine online community/Babele platform and facilitate resource sharing among participants.
§ Identify opportunities to enhance programming and improve participant outcomes.
Events & Industry Engagement
§ Lead the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and networking activities.
§ Represent the initiative at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
§ Coordinate event logistics, stakeholder outreach, and post-event follow-up.
Internal Collaboration
§ Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across Bioenterprise initiatives.
Support the Director in identifying opportunities to expand services and improve initiative impact
Qualifications
Education
§ Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences or a related field.
Experience
§ 2–4 years of experience in program management, accelerator delivery, innovation ecosystem development, stakeholder engagement, and customer success
§ Experience working within the agri-food, agri-tech, cleantech, or life sciences sectors
§ Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives involving industry, government, and service providers
§ Experience working with publicly funded programs and reporting to government funders (e.g., familiarity with programs from organizations like Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness)
§ Proven track record supporting startups or SMEs in commercialization, scaling, or business growth
Skills and Core Competencies
§ Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
§ Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
§ Strategic thinking with the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans
§ Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including report writing and presentations
§ Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs, metrics, and program impact
§ Event planning and execution experience
§ Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Technical & Tools
§ Experience using CRM systems, program management tools, and collaboration platforms
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Industry Knowledge
§ Understanding of the Canadian agri-food innovation ecosystem, including key stakeholders, funding mechanisms, and commercialization pathways
§ Awareness of emerging technologies in agri-food (e.g., AI, precision agriculture, sustainability solutions)
Other Requirements
§ Ability to travel within Ontario and occasionally across Canada
§ Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (minimum 3 days/week in Guelph office)

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
