We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Liquor Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Vernon location. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing team members, and maintaining the high standards of service our customers have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead, coach, and supervise store staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
· Recruit, train, schedule, and develop employees to ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
· Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
· Monitor store performance and work toward achieving or exceeding sales, profitability, and operational goals.
· Ensure compliance with all provincial liquor regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
· Manage inventory levels, purchasing, receiving, and stock control to maximize product availability and minimize losses.
· Oversee cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, and loss prevention practices.
· Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs within established budget guidelines.
· Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
· Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping experience.
· Complete administrative duties, including reporting, record keeping, and performance management.
· Collaborate with ownership and team members to identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
· Minimum 2–3 years of retail management or supervisory experience, preferably in liquor, beverage, grocery, or specialty retail.
· Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
· Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage key performance indicators.
· Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
· Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and standard computer applications.
· Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and liquor retail operations is considered a strong asset.
· Serving It Right certification (or the ability to obtain certification) is required.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
