Qualifications:
- Availability to work the full weekend (Friday-Sunday) of July 10-11-12, including a training session on the evening of Thursday, July 9th
- Must have experience with computers and cash management - experience with ticketing software would be ideal, but is not necessary
- Self-starter who is motivated and works well both independently and with a team
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be punctual, and possess the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances as this will be a bustling festival environment!
- You will be outdoors for 4-10 hours depending on the shift length; day or night, rain or shine, foggy, cold. Please come prepared for the elements!
Responsibilities:
- Selling tickets to the public using a computer system & processing cash, credit card, and Interac payments
- Provide festival information, support and assistance to patrons and volunteers as required
- Face-to-face customer service, dealing with inquiries relating to payments, ticket orders and festival performances
- Resolving any customer issues with pre-paid tickets & cash-up procedures and accurate record-keeping
- Ensure effective communication occurs between staff members, volunteers and other teams
- Troubleshoot technical issues during the festival
- Assist with daily set-up and take down of all festival satellite box offices
