POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor, contributing to the overall maintenance of cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness across Cedars Campus. Your role is integral in upholding Cedar's standards, ensuring a pristine and secure environment for Cedars Recovery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stay well-versed in Cedars policies and procedures outlined in the Cedars People & Cedars Organization Manual.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to guarantee elevated standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in sleeping areas, common rooms, and public spaces.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas, while collaborating with staff to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
- Actively engage in identifying and implementing improvements for overall housekeeping functions at Cedars at Cobble Hill.
- Manage and organize supplies, ensuring orderly supply closets and housekeeping home base alongside fellow housekeeping staff.
- Complete supply and work order forms as necessary.
- Undertake deep cleaning of buildings according to a scheduled and as-needed basis.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by leadership or supervisory team.
- Attend staff training sessions and meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1 year experience in a housekeeping role (preferred)
· Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
· Ability to clearly communicate verbally, and in writing.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with the various departments involved in the treatment process.
· Ability to collaborate and problem solve with other team members.
· A commitment to creating a positive environment conducive to healing for both patients and staff.
· Lived experience with recovery from addiction an asset.
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
