The Department of Medicine and the Division of Hematology (Ottawa Blood Disease Centre) at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital are recruiting a hematologist specializing in lymphoproliferative disease to join our growing team as a full-time academic faculty member.
The Division of Hematology (The Ottawa Blood Disease Centre) is a large group of 43 faculty that work within a group practice plan model within the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital academic centre. The Division has three well-defined and successful clinical and research programs: Malignant Hematology, Benign Hematology and Thrombosis.
Academically, the division and department support undergraduate and postgraduate training, including subspecialty fellowship trainees in all three of our programs. Members have access to research services through the Office of Research Support and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute houses experts in broad areas of clinical epidemiology, statistical support, transfusion medicine research, patient decision-making, and knowledge translation.
