Hours of Work: Monday- Friday 2:00pm- 10:30pm

TDG Transit Design Group is seeking an organized individual with strong attention to detail to run our SMT Machinery. Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of related experience
General Duties:
- Perform manual inspection as per IPC standards (IPC 610)
- Responsible for aligning and hand placing parts on boards
- Responsible for running the SMT machine/feeder set up
- Preventive Maintenance of SMT equipment (Hanwha/ Samsung)
- SMT Programming (Pick & Place/ Solder Printer)
- Reflow Oven Profiling experience would be an asset
- Perform inventory storage systems such as FIFO (First-in-First-out)
- Electronic component verification
- Maintain PCB & electronic components accurately, ensuring cleanliness and good organization
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Logging in daily production job records
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of electronic assemblies including through hole and SMT components, blueprints and Bill of Materials
- Experience working with SMT Machines (Hanwha/Samsung Machine would be a strong asset but not required).
- Knowledge of quality systems and ESD control
- Hands on experience with SMT process, printed circuit boards, stencils, inspection and soldering
- Experience with IPC Standards (IPC 610 & 600) with respect to PCB repair and ISO 9001 would be an asset.
- Troubleshoot SMT equipment
- Computer literate (i.e. MS Office, Excel, Word)
- Selective Solder Machine experience would be an asset
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) experience would be an asset
- Knowledge of PCB assembly basic testing

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
