As a member of the Thunder Bay Parts Department, you will accurately pick orders from inventory stock, receive and stock product on shelves, package and ship orders, enter/post orders on Maxim’s internal business system, and complete related paperwork.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Receives product as required and forwards emergency stock for customers. Ensures freight cost is calculated and charged to customer.
- Picks parts and places orders in bins as based on customer order details. Aisles are kept clean.
- Consolidates orders going to same location and packages for shipping. Loads and unloads couriers and delivery trucks from other branches.
- Completes accurate associated paperwork.
- Records vendor invoices when stock has arrived in the warehouse, posts the invoice, and print for Accounts Payables.
Qualifications
- 2 years of work experience, preferably in a related role
- Experience in a fast paced work environment
- Customer service focused
- Attention to detail
- Shows a learner attitude, initiative and diligence
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds without assistance
- Basic computer experience with ability to learn in-house system
- Forklift license or ability to achieve
- Ability to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, year-round
- Ability to climb ladders preferred
- Knowledge of Heavy-duty parts an asset
