Position Summary
The Collision Repair Technician is responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition while following OEM repair procedures, industry best practices, and company quality standards. The successful candidate will perform structural and non-structural repairs, communicate effectively with the production team, and help ensure vehicles are repaired safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Job Duties
-
Review repair orders and understand all required repairs before beginning work.

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs according to OEM specifications.

Repair and replace body panels, structural components, and related vehicle parts.

Complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly operations.

Identify and report hidden or additional damage to the Production Manager.

Straighten and repair vehicle structures using frame and measuring equipment.

Perform welding, bonding, riveting, and sectioning procedures in accordance with manufacturer requirements.

Repair dents and damaged panels using approved repair methods and equipment.

Remove, install, and align replacement parts to manufacturer specifications.

Complete quality control inspections throughout the repair process.

Maintain accurate repair documentation and complete quality control checklists.

Conduct final inspections and road tests to ensure repairs meet company quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Monitor parts usage and communicate any concerns promptly.

Stay current on changing vehicle technology and repair procedures.

Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.

Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, welders, and collision repair equipment.

Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
