Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing a variety of household appliances at customer locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. As an Appliance Installation Technician, you will ensure that appliances are installed correctly and safely, providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install new appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, OTR's, Hood fan's and dishwashers according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform appliance installation and troubleshooting to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct safety checks on appliances before and after installation of appliances.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC systems as needed for complex installations
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features and answering client questions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after each job
- Document work performed accurately in company systems
- Haul old appliances too recycle depot as well as packaging.
- Pick up smaller appliances and deliver them to the job site as required.
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance installation and assembly processes
- Minor carpentry may be required from time to time.
- Prior experience with appliance installation or repair is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have a reliable vehicle which would allow for small appliance disposal pickup or recycle
- Must have a cell phone and possible small computer to aid in real time invoicing
- Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in various environments
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety standards
Pay: $128.00-$800.00 per day
