On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Senior ETL Developer for an 8-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior ETL Developer - Job Description:
The Senior ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and expanding data pipelines through ETL activities. The focus is on translating technical specifications into tested applications and maintaining applications for the Ministry of Transportation.
Senior ETL Developer - Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines for ETL activities
- Translate technical system specifications into working applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write code
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot technical problems
- Provide technical assistance during implementation and migration activities
Senior ETL Developer - Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience in ETL development and data integration
- Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Informatica
- Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Senior ETL Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Rapid Application Development methodologies
- Knowledge of Information Management principles
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with middleware and gateways
- Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
