Apex Valve Services (a division of Apex Distribution Inc.) is currently seeking a Pressure Relief Valve Technician for our Lac La Biche PSV facility. Apex Valve Services is a full-service valve repair company providing our clients with a diversified range of repair, maintenance & modifications including, PM programs, repair/replacement analysis for API, ANSI, and PSV valves with locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong mechanical skills dedicated to meeting our client’s requirements in our busy locations. Our valve service facilities have consistently experienced an active marketplace and have a strong track record of success. We are a major player in the Canadian valve service market and pride ourselves as customer orientated.
Responsibilities and qualifications include:
· Working with customers planning valve servicing during turnarounds/shutdowns
· Disassembly, inspection, repair and testing of valves
· Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
· Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with provincial and federal law, company/client policies and procedures as well as safety and environmental regulations
· Professional communication with clients, vendors and co-workers
· Minimum 3 years PSV experience
· Experience in working with pressurized equipment and Forklift operation required (training provided)
· Compensation will be commensurate on experience.
