Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor landscaping projects. This role involves working on residential and commercial properties to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in lawn maintenance and landscaping.
This position offers potential growth within the position, possible full-time requirement. This position is to grow with the family owned business. We do provide snow removal services in the Winter season.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as lawn mowers & weed whackers for lawn maintenance
- Conduct gardening activities such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing
- Perform general site cleanup and ensure work areas are safe and organized
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic landscaping/lawn maintenance techniques
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to drive to work location in Caledonia / Hamilton Upper James St.
- Ability to utilize weed whacker
- Ability to lift 40 lbs +

Pay: $22.00 per hour
