Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform various excavation tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure project completion.

Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including graders, bulldozers, and backhoes, to dig, move, and grade earth materials.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate excavation activities effectively.
- Must be able to know how to use the GPS systems.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating machinery on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators and related machinery.
- Familiarity with grader operation, bulldozing, commercial driving, and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to operate backhoes and perform horizontal drilling tasks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety practices in construction environments.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are advantageous.
