Pool Maintenance / Technician — Tall Oaks Landscape group - Luxury Pools and landscapes, Oakville, ON

We are currently looking for an experienced Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining residential swimming pools, balancing water chemistry, troubleshooting equipment, and providing excellent customer service.
Role overview:
As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the ongoing care, cleaning, and maintenance of luxury residential swimming pools. You will ensure pools are operating efficiently, safely, and remain in pristine condition throughout the season.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance visits
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush walls, and clean filters
- Inspect and maintain pumps, heaters, filters, automation systems, and other pool equipment
- Diagnose and report equipment issues and required repairs
- Open and close pools seasonally
- Maintain accurate service records and client notes
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Assist with minor pool repairs and service work when required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in pool maintenance and service
- Strong knowledge of pool water chemistry and balancing procedures
- Experience working with pool pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation controls
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot common pool equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Experience servicing luxury residential pools is considered an asset
