Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks.
Help with cooking activities by organizing ingredients and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety standards.
Support food service operations by setting up serving stations and assisting with meal distribution.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies, including labeling and rotating stock as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Assist in dishwashing duties to keep the kitchen organized and hygienic.
Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately.
Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or kitchen work in the food industry is advantageous.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
Good communication skills for coordinating tasks within the kitchen team.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.25-$19.50 per hour
