TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Plan, organize and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth dine-in, takeout and delivery service of Indian menu items including curries, tandoori specialties, rice dishes and breads.
● Implement service procedures that coordinate the preparation and timely delivery of Indian dishes such as tandoori items, chaats, curries and shared plates during lunch and dinner service.
● Recruit, train and supervise service staff on Indian menu knowledge, spice levels, traditional accompaniments and culturally attentive guest service.
● Coordinate front-of-house service with kitchen staff to ensure efficient timing of multi-dish Indian meals and consistent table turnover during busy service periods.
● Monitor inventory of spices, specialty ingredients, chutneys, dairy products and beverages used in Indian cuisine and coordinate purchasing to maintain quality and availability.
● Track restaurant revenues, labour costs and operating expenses and adjust staffing levels and service procedures to improve operational efficiency.
● Oversee beverage service including cocktails, wines and traditional non-alcoholic drinks that complement Indian menu offerings.
● Address guest inquiries regarding menu selections, spice preferences, dietary restrictions and allergen concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction.
● Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, liquor service requirements and workplace health and safety standards in restaurant operations.
● Coordinate restaurant operations for group reservations, private dining functions and special events requiring Indian banquet-style service.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience as a Managerial role within the Hospitality Industry.

Hourly Rate: $36.60 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
